Broken driveshaft at Georgetown brings disappointing end to 2020 season

Making his final start of the 2020 season, Bryan Bernheisel visited Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Del.) on Friday afternoon piloting his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips No. 119 Late Model for the Mid-Atlantic Championship. Drawing 23 Late Models for the two-day event, Bernheisel edged his way into Saturday night’s A-Main with a fifth place finish in his heat race. With $7,000 on the line, Bryan broke into the Top-10 early but a broken driveshaft on the ninth lap brought an immediate end to his evening.
