Runner-up finish for Bryan in Bedford's Gary Martz Memorial

Bryan and Jim Bernheisel were in action on Friday evening at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) where they both moved forward in the Gary Martz Memorial A-Main.

In a field of 18 cars, Bryan raced into the $3,800-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory while Jim trailed him across the line in third. Chasing race-long pacesetter Coleby Frye to the checkers in the 30-lap feature, Bryan jumped two spots to register a runner-up finish with Chuck Clise, Kyle Lee, and Devin Weyandt rounding out the top-five. Jim gained one spot to place sixth.

Saturday’s scheduled event at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) fell victim to wet weather.
