Bryan finishes third at Port Royal, Jim eighth in Superko No. 31
Taking part in the mid-week event, Bryan Bernheisel traveled to Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Del.) on Thursday afternoon for the Summer Thunder Twin 25s.
Following a fifth-place run in his heat, Bernheisel headed pitside early in the feature due to rain falling on the track.
With Jim joining on Saturday, both drivers headed to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) to compete for the $4,000 top prize. In a field of 30 cars, Bryan and Jim raced their way into the main event with a pair of eight-lap heat race victories. Jim faded to finish eighth in the 25-lapper while Bryan rolled to a top-five finish with a third-place showing. He trailed Trever Feathers and Gregg Satterlee across the line with Ross Robinson and Rick Eckert rounding out the top-five.
