Bernheisel sixth in Turk Burket Tribute Labor Day 55 at Bedford
Bryan Bernheisel got an early start to his Labor Day weekend with a midweek stop at Georgetown Speedway (Del.) on Tuesday for the Camp Barnes Benefit.
After advancing to the $5,600-to-win A-Main with a sixth-place finish in his heat race, Bernheisel gained one position in the 25-lap feature to register an 11th-place finish.
He returned to action Friday night at Bedford Speedway for the Turk Burket Tribute Labor Day 55, which also served as the opening round of the inaugural Bernheisel Racing Components Fall Clash miniseries. After qualifying into the main event, he recorded a fifth-place finish in the dash and went on to post a sixth-place finish in the $12,055-to-win feature.
