Bernheisel goes topless in West Virginia; ULMS action continues Friday at Outlaw
The 2026 United Late Model Series (ULMS) schedule is finally underway, and Jonestown, Pennsylvania's Bryan Bernheisel - a full-time competitor with ULMS - was in on the action, commencing the Series' new campaign with the 38th Annual Topless 50 Earl Hill Memorial at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia, on Saturday, May 2.
Twenty-nine ULMS super late models made the call for the $5,080-to-win main event, and although Bernheisel was not a frontrunner, the Central Pennsylvania ace made the most noise, concluding his efforts with an 11-position rally from row 12 with his final score equaling 13th. Mason Zeigler was the main event winner.
The ULMS Series will return to action Friday, May 8, with an appearance at the always-racey Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, New York. From one high profile event to the next, Friday's 69th Season Points Opener - 5th Ted Siri Memorial | NASCAR Night headliner will award $10,000-to-win.
